Third Thursdays Silent Book Club with Dragonfly Books! This is a free event and open to all literary enthusiasts! We will meet every third Thursday of the month from 5:00pm -7:00pm at the Hotel Winneshiek Bar and Lounge. BYOB (Bring your own book!) Grab your beverage and join us as we read together. Hello, ALL readers!! If you are looking for some FREE me time once a month, please join us at New Book Joy in Edgebrook. We will be hosting a monthly (usually on the 3rd Saturday) from 4:00pm - 5:00pm (5:30pm if you would like to participate in our optional mix and mingle with other attendees) and you will have the opportunity to read upstairs in our lounge or downstairs in our booktique!

Sharing our beautiful relaxing space on the first Tuesday of each month for over 16’s to gather for the Isle of Man’s only Silent Book Club. Up to 18 guests in three rooms with host Karen Jones, you’re able to enjoy a cuppa, a slice of cake, space, time, and silence to enjoy some indulgent reading time.
Following the ethos of ‘Silent Book Club’ it’s your choice whether or not you socialise or interact with other attendees. This is the perfect space for those less comfortable with social interaction to socialise without socialising, in a safe and relaxed space.

Welcome to our Library's Silent Book Club! Join us for some socializing and a lot of reading! We will meet on Fridays in the Wensberg Room from 6:00-8:00, with 30 minutes to socialize (if you want), an hour of reading, and 30 minutes at the end to gush about what you read (if you want). This is a no pressure way to meet fellow book lovers and try out a book group where you read what YOU want, not what a group wants!
For our first few meetings, we'll meet at the library and gauge interest. If the group is large enough and is interested, I will talk to Mi Corazon about a day and time we could meet there. We will provide folding chairs and a few bean bags, but feel free to bring snacks, drinks (no alcohol, please!), and a comfier chair!
